Located 96 kms north of Fort Nelson, Tetsa River Regional Park offers 25 private, unserviced forested camp sites, day use area with picnic shelter and a children’s playground. Foot access to the beautiful Tetsa River provides an opportunity for fly or rod fishing and wildlife viewing. Camp fees include firewood and are $20 per night, and by reservation only. Open May-September annually. Please note that picnic shelter and playground are closed under COVID-19 measures.

The Fort St. John North Peace Museum tells the story of the Fort St. John region from the dinosaurs to the oil and gas industries of today. Learn more about Indigenous people, the fur trade, homesteaders, and the development of Fort St. John and the North Peace region of British Columbia. Come explore a tepee, trapper’s cabin, blacksmith’s shop, 1921 school room, 1930s dentist office, missionary chapel, 1930 Outpost Hospital room, 1910 BC Police Barracks and Jail, Finch’s General Store, and more! Try interactive activities like sorting mail in our post office. Our gift shop is a fabulous place to find books on the Peace Region, BC, Alberta, and the Yukon. We have a wide variety of souvenirs, clothing, stuffed animals, jewellery, and gifts. Our archives can help answer requests about the North Peace from photographs to genealogy. We’re open Monday to Saturday year-round.

Through the collaboration of the Northeast Aboriginal Business Centre and Treaty 8 Tribal Association, the Indigenous Artist Market was created as an outlet for local Indigenous and First Nation(s) artisans. Here they are able to sell their pieces as well as hold workshops to teach their craft. In addition, the market has gifts and souvenirs that promotes First Nation(s) culture and traditions. Due to COVID-19, the Indigenous Artists’ Market will be open for sales within the limited hours as posted and will also be available for online orders. All forms of payment are still acceptable, including Visa/Mastercard/Debit/Cash.
