Sheltered from the brunt of the south easterlies by Trail Islands, Four Winds is a magnificent view point for the wilds of a winter storm or the beautiful calm of a summer day. Our guest wing (the “West Wing”) is on the lee side of the point so you will sleep snugly, marveling to the sounds of the water just below your windows.

Our packaged nightly accommodation rate typically includes a three-course dinner and ala carte breakfast service the next morning. We offer ocean front cottages, yurts and a motel. We rent kayaks, paddle boards and a motor boat. Our marina has 60 slips and accommodates boats up to 50′. You can enjoy a heated chlorine-free pool during summer months.

Artique is a co-op gallery of close to 30 Powell River working artists and craftspersons who collectively display their work for sale. These include greeting cards and works on paper, jewellery of metals and precious stones, pottery, soaps and lotions, photography, watercolour, oil, pastel and acrylics on canvas and board, fine textiles, stained glass, glass beads, and wood and stone sculptures.

Painted Boat Resort & Marina is the premier resort on the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia, Canada. Located two hours from Vancouver via BC Ferries from Horseshoe Bay and Highway 1, the Resort is also accessible by seaplane. Blue Ocean Golf Club (formerly the Sechelt Golf and Country Club) is a championship par 72 located in beautiful Sechelt, British Columbia on Vancouver’s Sunshine Coast just a short ferry ride from Horseshoe Bay. With tees ranging from 5,351 to 6,553 yards the golf course is a test for all abilities. There are two large greens to practice putting and chipping, a full service Practice Tee and our Professionals offer a complete range of instruction and coaching programs designed to assist you in reaching your potential and gain the enjoyment that playing better can bring. We have a fleet of 36 electric Club Cars and 4 Golf Boards available for your golfing pleasure! Please note: The Blue Ocean Bar and Grill is closed Jan 16 until early/mid February. Coffee and snacks are available in the Golf Shop until the restaurant re-opens.
