Guiding in Alberta North West and British Columbia North East. We service a large area that crosses over the border between Alberta and BC, including the Tumbler Ridge UNESCO Geopark. Our guides specialize in fitness training, Stand Up Paddle Boarding, navigation and fireside food. We offer “mountain fitness” training in the spring, paddle board workshops in the summer and navigation courses throughout the year. Our personal guided trips include delicious meals created by our team. We support our clients by offering equipment rentals. We have SUP’s , backcountry tents and backcountry hiking kits, backpacks, navigation tools, packrafts, and canvas “glamping” tents.

The Tumbler Ridge Global Geopark is an area recognized as having internationally significant geological heritage. Geoparks aim to reconnect people to the earth, whether through hiking trails, learning about mountain building, eating food grown in the local soils, or celebrating the stories of the people who have lived here since time immemorial.

Ridge Rotors is a small helicopter company that has been operating in Tumbler Ridge since 2004. With many years flying in the rugged wilderness of Tumbler Ridge we know of some fantastic backcountry that we would love to show you. If you want to take a scenic flight, go on a Heli-Hike, or you have your own adventure planned we want to take you to the skies and make your heart soar.

The Tumbler Ridge Museum is home to the Dinosaur Discovery Gallery and the Peace Region Paleontology Research Centre. The central display features a full-scale re-creation of a 100 million-year-old dinosaur track environment, with additional displays on dinosaur and other vertebrate tracks and traces, which make up the vast majority of the terrestrial vertebrate record of western Canada. The interactive theatre provides several presentation options for visitors to view and learn about the pre-history of the Peace Region of British Columbia. During the summer the Gallery offers Trackway Tours, Day Camps for kids ages 7 13, and Drop in programs for kids and families of all ages. The Tumbler Ridge Human History Gallery is housed in the Community Centre with free access during regular Centre hours.

Tumbler Ridge Golf & Country Club welcomes you to the most scenic and challenging course in Northern BC. Novice and experienced golfers alike enjoy the 9-hole, par 36 public golf course complete with pro shop, driving range, putting green and clubhouse.This fully irrigated course is cut from thick, forested terrain high above the broad Murray River, and putting requires careful study. Continuous gentle breezes, natural slopes, undulating fairways and water hazards test your skill. Most of the bent-grass greens have elevated approaches and well-placed sand traps guarding them. The finishing hole is the challenging 405-yard ninth, playing up a two-level fairway to an elevated green.

We are a year round guiding and rental business. We do riverboat tours to Kinuseo Falls in Tumbler Ridge. We also have other river destinations. We also do Jeep tours and guided ATV tours. Guided hiking tours are also available. We rent ATVs and kayaks as well as other camping equipment. Winter time brings guided snowshoe and snowmobile tours. We also rent avalanche gear, snowmobiles and snowshoes.
