Castlegar Sculpturewalk is an annual exhibition of outdoor sculptures, located on a pleasant walking tour in downtown Castlegar. Viewers are encouraged to vote for their favourite sculpture via ballot – the winner of the People’s Choice award is purchased by the City for the permanent collections. All of the artworks are available for sale or lease. Ballots/maps are located in red ballot boxes along the route (the start of the route is at the Kootenay Market (635 Columbia Avenue), though you can begin the walk from anywhere. Ballots/maps are also available at the Castlegar Chamber of Commerce, City Hall, or the Kootenay Gallery.

Castlegar’s Golf Club is a championship 18-hole, semi-private course situated above the Columbia River. Our facilities include a fully-stocked golf shop, excellent practice facilities, full service Clubhouse & a new 20 site RV Park. We also offer the following amenities: private lessons, grass tee driving range, practice greens, club rentals & power carts. In 2010, we hosted the BC Amateur and in 2011 the BC Senior games. The championship Castlegar Golf Course has hosted numerous Provincial and National tournaments. A must play on any Kootenay vacation; come and stay in our great new RV Park. Endless Adventure, is a multi-sport outdoor adventure centre,located in beautiful Crescent Valley BC. Our goal is to share the magic found in the lush landscape of the West Kootenays via Stand Up Paddle, kayak,canoe, or raft. Endless Adventure offers paddle sports sales as well as kayaking and SUP tours, rentals, instruction. We also provide safe and fun Rafting and a full service campsite over looking the Slocan River. Our Endless Adventure Kayak/SUP academy features whitewater and touring courses for all levels with safety and expert instruction as our focus.
